چکیده
Dendritic cells are present in both lymphoid and non-lymphoid organs, which heterogenous group of nonphagocytic nonlymphoid immune accessory cells. Plasmacytoid dendritic cell (which has an eccentric nuclei) subset aid secreting high levels type 1 interferons by activation gaining like morphology, play important role antiviral immunity involved initiation development stages inflammatory response. The initial presentation extra-cutaneous region is involvement regional lymph nodes later progressed to bone marrow peripheral blood. When extensively involved, neoplastic interfere blood resembling as circulating leukemic myeloid or blasts. BPDCN confused with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma due involvement. Comparative adults, children less aggressive. Intensive 1st line therapy along “Lymphoid type” chemotherapy show better results. Lymphodenopathy, splenomegaly, cytopenia, lesions observed widely.

Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm; A Report of Three Cases
Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) is a rare hematodermic myeloid malignancy that is known to be derived from plasmacytoid dendritic cells which are characterized by expression of CD4, CD56, and more specific markers such as CD123. Here, the authors present three cases of BPDCN diagnosed in the past two years and address different available diagnostic modalities such as morpho...

Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm is a rare, highly aggressive hematopoietic malignancy that is characterized by the clonal proliferation of immature or precursors of plasmacytoid dendritic cells. We report the case of 70-year-old woman affected by blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm who died despite 6 months of chemotherapy.

Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) is a rare hematopoietic malignancy with almost invariably cutaneous involvement and poor prognosis. We report a case of BPDCN in a 58-year-old man who presented with skin, lymph node, bone marrow, peripheral blood, lung, and central nervous system involvement. To the best of our knowledge, central nervous system (CNS) involvement as initial p...

Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN), formerly known as agranular cluster of differentiation (CD)4+/CD56+ hematodermic neoplasm, is a rare and aggressive type of lymphoma, with only ~100 cases reported worldwide. BPDCN is a hematological malignancy derived from precursors of plasmacytoid dendritic cells and is clinically characterized by cutaneous manifestations involving the ly...

Introduction Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) is a rare, highly aggressive hematopoietic malignancy. It manifests as cutaneous and bone marrow involvement and leukemic spread. It represents 0.7% of primary cutaneous lymphomas. Recently, it was established as a distinct entity. We present a rare case of BPDCN with good response to chemotherapy and review the clinicopathologic...
